Discover the RCC|KN platform
WEBINAR - September 14, 2021
03.00 pm - 05.00 pm
During this two-hour webinar, come and discover the RCC|KN platform, developed within the framework of the project of the same name and which has enabled the four partner laboratories of the project, located within the Greater Region, to collaborate, experiment and teach at a distance in the field of energy efficiency in buildings. The partners of the RCC|KN project invite you to this webinar on 14 September during which the project, its technical challenges and its medium and long-term objectives will be presented. Research and demonstration PLATFORM
The aim of the RCC|KN project is to connect laboratories and research centres together within a network that involves the classic aspects of exchange of experience but also aims for a delocalized physical connection between laboratories.
The network will be based on the technique of emulation and remote connectivity in the form of a cross-border platform. This platform will increase experimentation and testing possibilities and offer a solution to overcome certain investment problems and give research units greater visibility within the Greater Region.
The project is financed by the European INTERREG VA Greater Region programme and the ERDF.
The pooling of material resources and infrastructure of the various research laboratories evolving within the project.
The development over 3 years of the RCC|KN network to become a demonstration showcase for manufacturers and players in the energy sector.
One of the challenges of the project is the exchange of data in real time and remotely.
The project is based on the emulation technique to perform experiments between the different laboratories.
The term "emulation" means replacing an element or system with another system capable of reproducing (imitating) the same behaviour.
The involvement of the various partner laboratories enables the development of skills on the territory of the Greater Region.
The strengthening and amplification of collaborations between universities and professionals in the sector.
