The Living Lab smart office space is a collaborative project of the University of Kaiserslautern and the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). It is an experimental space for innovations in the area of Personalized Environment and Ambient Intelligence which are developed and evaluated by the team of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sabine Hoffmann (department of Built Environment).
As a living lab, the space is used not only for scientific research but also as a temporary work place for faculty members and DFKI staff.
People working in the living lab use the trendsetting technologies and figure as test persons by giving regular user feedback which is crucial for evaluation and enhancements.
Project financed by the support of the European Union, the Interreg V-A Greater Region program and the European Regional Development Fund
